To say “my day” you say “dagurinn minn” (with the definite article).
- dagurinn minn – “dagur” is a masculine word and therefore you use “minn”
- vikan mín – “vika” is a feminine word and therefore you use “mín”
- árið mitt – “ár” is a neuter word and therefore you use “mitt”
“Your” has the exact same form, just with the first letter changed to “Þ”:
- dagurinn þinn
- vikan þín
- árið þitt
